Locums About the Facility This 103-bed general acute-care hospital provides comprehensive surgical and anesthesia services across multiple specialties. The facility operates under a physician supervision model and maintains established perioperative protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. About the Facility Location Maryland offers a range of regional attractions suited to diverse interests. The state provides opportunities for outdoor recreation, year-round activities, and cultural experiences, with convenient travel options available throughout the region. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at an inpatient facility in Maryland. The surgical case mix includes urology, orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, vascular, and endoscopy procedures. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients, and managing induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Clinicians will monitor patients' physiological conditions throughout procedures and perform clinical interventions as needed. Board certification is required for all clinicians in this role. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment.
