Scheduling is flexible with shifts available in 8, 10, 12, and 24-hour increments, and providers typically work a minimum of three days per week; common schedule examples include one 24-hour shift combined with two 12-hour shifts or one 24-hour shift with two 8-hour shifts, with preferences discussed during the interview process. Call is required approximately every 5-6 weeks, though this may increase during the summer months, with a 45-minute response time and on-call rooms available; one holiday is required and scheduled fairly across the team. CRNAs can expect to handle 5-7 cases per day depending on the site, including general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and pediatric procedures, with no open heart or transplant cases; CRNAs will perform blocks and epidurals under a 4:1 supervision model. Candidates must have a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Anesthesia, hold NBCRNA certification, and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA. Scrubs are provided, malpractice insurance is covered, providers will float between three nearby sites, and up to two weeks of RTO is allowed for a 26-week contract. #
