This ambulatory surgery center is part of a prestigious health system that provides comprehensive outpatient surgical services to the community. The facility features a collaborative and supportive environment with over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians, creating excellent opportunities for professional growth and teamwork.Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist -Anesthesia Job Details:
- Provide anesthesia care in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia care team across multiple outpatient surgical specialties
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) to patients of all ages and A.S.A. classes, including geriatrics and pediatrics
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management services
- Handle variety of surgical cases including total hips and knees, plastic surgery, sports medicine, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, endoscopy, and general surgery
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Travel to other ambulatory sites when needed
- Work harmoniously with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers
- Must be Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan RN License
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years CRNA work experience required (not including RN or training)
- Clean malpractice and license history required
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
- No on-call responsibilities
- Full-time position with no weekend requirements
