Job Description

JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Works with other CRNAs, anesthesiologists, anesthesia technician and other members of the surgical team to provide high standards of anesthesia care.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
Manages Pre, Intraoperative, and post-operative anesthesia care of patients under the supervision of the Anesthesiologist. Responsible to the Director of Surgical Services and/or designee.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Graduate of an accredited school of nurse anesthesia. Maintain a current North Carolina nursing license with annual renewal. Completion of qualifying examination given by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA). Maintains NBCRNA license and certification renewal. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
