Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 90-day assignment in NC, commencing Oct 12, 2026. This position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive anesthesia services within a high acuity trauma center, managing diverse surgical cases including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neuro, pediatric, and thoracic procedures, with schedule details to be determined. Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia services in a High Acuity Trauma Center. Manage a wide range of surgical cases including general, gynecological, urological, orthopedic, spine, vascular, heart, lung, OOR, cardiac, complex vascular, head spine, neuro, pediatric, and thoracic. Perform general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients. Handle neurosurgical cases involving the head and spine, open heart anesthesia, and thoracic procedures. Execute procedures such as arterial line placement, ventilation management, and evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues. Work comfortably with both adult and pediatric patient populations. Operate under medical direction. Additional Information Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology and National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Experience with Epic EMR.
