  • Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services with 4 patient encounters per shift in a locum tenens capacity
  • Must be board-certified with at least one year of clinical experience
  • Must have an active New Mexico license or be in the process of reactivating one
  • Provider must reside 90+ miles from the facility
  • Must be willing to work weekends and take call
  • Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing regional blocks
  • Case logs of blocks performed must be provided
  • training for blocks will not be provided
  • Administer general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform spinal and epidural anesthesia as required
  • Provide anesthesia support for complex orthopedic, neurosurgical, and spine cases
  • Support obstetrical, pediatric, and complex vascular cases as preferred skills
  • Perform ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume and blood pressure issues
  • Central line and arterial line placement preferred
  • Regional anesthesia, thoracic cases, pain management techniques, post-op epidural, and post-op extremity blocks are preferred skills
  • ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications are required
  • Providers must be enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) for COI purposes
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
