Job Description

Description This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to support the anesthesiology department in a thriving medical practice that prioritizes patient care and safety. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Working closely with our surgical teams, your expertise will contribute to optimal patient outcomes and enhance the overall efficiency of our operations. This position not only allows you to apply your skills in a meaningful way but also provides the flexibility that comes with contract work. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments to evaluate patient health Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure patient safety Monitor patient vitals and manage anesthesia during procedures Manage post-anesthesia care and provide follow-up assessments Educate patients and families on anesthesia procedures and safety Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation Contribute to anesthesiology quality improvement initiatives Requirements Associate degree in Nursing; CRNA certification required Active state nursing license as a Nurse Anesthetist Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesia practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Commitment to patient safety and quality care Flexibility to adapt to varying shift demands
