As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and postoperative evaluations Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room Educate patients and their families on anesthesia procedures Document patient care and procedures accurately Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Requirements Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia Current RN license and certification as a CRNA Previous experience in perioperative care is preferred Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and protocols Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Adept at working in fast-paced medical environments Detail-oriented and highly organized Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
Schedule:
7:00a-5:30p, 8 or 10-hour shifts No call required
Setting:
Inpatient and outpatient
Case Types:
General, vascular, ENT, orthopedics, urology, GYN, robotics, plastics, endoscopy, bariatrics, bronchoscopy, neuro spine (no heads)
Procedures Required:
MAC and general anesthesia
Support Staff:
Anesthesiologist and Anesthesia Technicians Must be board-certified BLS required Paid travel and expenses
