Job Description

Description This contract position offers a fantastic opportunity to provide quality anesthetic care in a fast-paced, on-site environment within the Medical Practice industry. As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and managing patient care throughout the surgical process. Your expertise will contribute significantly to ensuring patient safety and comfort, while collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of care while supporting various surgical procedures. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care Provide patient education regarding anesthesia procedures and care Maintain accurate records of patient care and anesthesia administration Stay current with best practices and protocols in anesthesia Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Requirements Active CRNA license in the state of practice Associate degree in Nurse Anesthesiology or related field Clinical experience in a hospital or surgical setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and monitoring Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and surgical schedules
Level III Trauma Center Schedule:
8a-6p, 4-day workweeks No call required
Case Types:
Bread & butter, neuro, OB, and pediatrics 1:3 medical direction Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel and expenses
