Job Description

Description This contract position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our esteemed Anesthesiology department within the Medical Practice industry. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes while handling a variety of cases. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia safely and effectively during surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Collaborate with surgeons and other medical team members Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations Develop and implement anesthesia care plans Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor recovery Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations Participate in continuous education and training sessions Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or related field Active certification as a Nurse Anesthetist Clinical experience in administering anesthesia Strong knowledge of anesthesia procedures and equipment Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Current licensure to practice nursing in the respective state
Schedule:
Friday-Monday, 10 or 12-hour shifts Optional night and weekend call shifts
Case Types:
Pediatrics, OB, and hearts
Medical Direction:
1:3-4 Must be board-certified or board-eligible Paid travel and expenses
