- Part-time, PRN Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in gastrointestinal (GI) anesthesia to join our dynamic perioperative team at Baylor Surgicare in Plano.

Mondays and Fridays with the same GI doctor (Potential opportunity for other days available)
Compensation:
$200/hour Outpatient GI/endoscopy cases Independent practice in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center Predictable daytime hours 1099 Independent Contractor position Duties Administer anesthesia for gastrointestinal procedures, including endoscopies, biopsies, and minimally invasive surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout. Conduct comprehensive preoperative patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physiology evaluation to determine appropriate anesthesia plans. Monitor patient vital signs continuously during procedures using advanced medical equipment and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems to document all relevant data accurately. Manage airway maintenance and airway management techniques to ensure unobstructed breathing during anesthesia administration. Respond swiftly and effectively to cardiac arrest emergencies or other critical incidents with advanced emergency response protocols. Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate perioperative care and optimize patient outcomes. Comply with all nursing procedures, HIPAA regulations, hospital policies, and state Nursing Practice Acts while maintaining meticulous medical documentation and adhering to NCQA standards for quality care.
