- No weeknight or weekend pager call Practice Setting
- Acute Care Hospital
- Supervised model
- MD to CRNA ratio: 1:4
- MDs also perform cases (rare MD solo cases)
- 10 anesthesia rooms
- Charting system: Epic Case Mix
- General Surgery
- Neuro
- Orthopedics
- OB
- Urology
- Gynecology
- Ophthalmology
- Endoscopy Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Continuous monitoring of patient physiological status
- Perform clinical interventions as needed Travel & Malpractice Covered
