Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties Working in an outpatient setting, you will perform psychiatric assessments for new patients and provide continuity of care for existing patients. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record working within Organization policy and procedures and quality assurance standards. Time is allotted daily for review of labs, renewal of medication, and conferencing with colleagues. Be part of a collaborative team of medical professionals in a work environment that will include primary care and psychotherapy providers Qualifications A minimum of a master's degree from an accredited school and board certification in psychiatry. An unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing Licenses, Alaska Advanced Practice Registered nursing license, prescriptive authority, and current DEA certificate. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, psychopharmacology, ICD-10 coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology. Qualified PAs, Dos, and MDs are encouraged to apply as well. Preference is given to those with experience in community mental health.
Pay:
$135,000.00 - $171,990.00 per year
