Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider is an advanced practice registered nurse or physician's assistant with education, training, certification, and licensure to provide care for a specified patient population. This individual will deliver care for patients including prevention/management of common pediatric illnesses and conditions, technologically dependent, and highly vulnerable for complications with acute, complex and/or chronic illnesses. This care is provided to support optimal health of children within the context of their family, community, and environmental setting. The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and scholarship. This individual works in collaboration with the collaborating physician, Division Medical Director, staff physicians, Lead APP, Director of Advanced Practice Providers, Department Director, staff nurses and other team members.

Education:

MSN, DNP or Post-Graduate Certificate with specialization as a pediatric nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner Graduate of master's or doctoral level physician assistant program

Experience:

At least 1 year of nursing or medical experience required with experience in the subspecialty area preferred Licensures, Certifications, and/or

Registries:
