This role offers a work schedule without weekends, nights, or holidays, allowing independent work with team support. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments, developing care plans, managing chronic and acute conditions, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and educating residents and families. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and participation in quality improvement are essential. Requirements involve current Alabama licensure, board certification, geriatric experience preferred, strong assessment and communication skills, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
