Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive patient care across a variety of clinical settings, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise will support multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and utilize advanced medical systems to optimize treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to make a meaningful impact in diverse medical environments. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems (Experity). Administer medications and injections following HIPAA regulations and DEA guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation and safe practices. Perform specialized procedures including suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, spinal taps, and dermal fillers with precision and adherence to sterile techniques. Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, gastroenterology, and hospice & palliative care. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans; participate in case management and discharge planning processes. Utilize diagnostic tools like sonography and laboratory testing for diagnostic evaluation; interpret results for clinical decision-making. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems in Experity; experience managing electronic health records (EHR) is essential. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience working with a wide range of patient populations including children, infants, seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, individuals with developmental disabilities or requiring assisted living care. Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate medical documentation and billing purposes. Ability to work effectively within collaborative practice agreements alongside advanced practice providers in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine or outpatient clinics. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care; capable of triage assessment in urgent care or emergency room environments. Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPAA compliance standards, drug administration regulations (including DEA), and critical & intensive care procedures.
