Sign-On Bonus Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (on-call as needed) The Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) delivers comprehensive care for patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, and spondyloarthropathies.
Develop and manage treatment plans in partnership with rheumatologists and the care team.
Prescribe and monitor therapies, including DMARDs, biologics, and corticosteroids.
Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic testing.
Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, symptom management, and lifestyle modifications.
Manage chronic conditions through ongoing follow-up, preventive care, and timely intervention for disease flare-ups.
Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary providers to support optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and quality initiatives.
Support team development through collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth.

Work Environment
Outpatient rheumatology clinic.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.

Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program by start date
Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of practice within 90 days of start date
Board certification by a recognized national body (e.g., ANCC, NCCPA) within 90 days of start date
Ability to manage complex patients with chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions
Preferred Qualification:
Familiarity with musculoskeletal ultrasound
Advanced knowledge of common rheumatologic diseases, including pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment options
Experience performing joint injections and aspirations
