Position Summary The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab work Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols Develop and implement patient treatment plans Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in EMR (Eclinicalworks) Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists as needed Qualifications Active Arizona license Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant DEA license Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred Strong knowledge of EMR systems and medical documentation Excellent bedside manner and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Experience Experience in primary care Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance benefits Paid time off Retirement plan options CME allowance Malpractice coverage
