Job Description
Family Nurse Practitioner - Mobile Primary Care IN person East Valley Established mobile medical practice providing primary care to Arizona's elderly population for 15 years is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide in-person primary care to patients in assisted living, residential, and retirement communities in the East Valley and parts of Central Phx. We currently have an established panel of approximately 60 patients ready to be seen. Flexible Schedule This position can be part-time or full-time . You may determine how many patients you would like to see per day and how many days per week you would like to work. Compensation $60 per completed in-person visit when our provided charting template is used and the encounter is appropriately documented and coded to support the rate.
Mileage reimbursement:
$0.50 per mile , paid at the end of each month. 1099 independent contractor position. We Handle the Administrative Work Our experienced back-office staff handles the administrative workload, including: Lab and radiology orders Medication orders and prescription refills Referrals DME processing Administrative follow-up After-hours calls and triage Our office takes all initial after-hours/on-call calls . Patients with urgent or emergent concerns are directed to the appropriate hospital or emergency care. It is rare for our providers to be contacted after hours for an emergency. Our goal is to allow our providers to focus primarily on seeing patients and providing quality care , while our office handles the administrative work. Requirements Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Arizona Current unrestricted license with no disciplinary action Experienced in primary care Geriatric/elderly patient experience strongly preferred Comfortable managing an established panel of approximately 60 patients Able to travel locally to assisted living and retirement communities Dependable and able to provide continuity of care Able to document and code appropriately using our provided template We are looking for an experienced provider who enjoys caring for seniors and wants the flexibility of a mobile primary-care position without the heavy administrative workload of a traditional practice.NO RECRUITERS OR STAFFING AGENCIES.
