Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care across a diverse range of medical settings, including acute care, primary care, pediatrics, and specialized clinics. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through thorough assessments, innovative treatment plans, and compassionate support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in healthcare delivery, utilizing advanced EMR systems and engaging in clinical research and telehealth services. Duties Conduct detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using the EMR system eClinicalWorks. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with diverse needs including acute pain management, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and chronic disease management. Perform procedures including suturing, venipuncture, catheterization Manage medication administration and IV infusions while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical protocols. Assist with diagnostic evaluations utilizing sonography, laboratory testing (including
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding), medical imaging, and specimen collection/processing. Support telehealth consultations by leveraging telemedicine platforms to extend care beyond traditional settings. Experience Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in outpatient clinic. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for documentation and order entry Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with ICD coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9). Familiarity with Workers' Compensation law and utilization review processes is advantageous. From $110,000.00 per year
