Title:
Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care | Tucson /
Avondale, AZ Summary:
A rapidly growing healthcare organization focused on value-based primary care for the senior population is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient team in Tucson/Avondale, AZ. This role offers longer patient visits, smaller patient panels, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering high-quality preventative care in a collaborative clinical environment. Day to
Day:
Provide outpatient primary care services to adult and geriatric patients Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans Prescribe medications and manage chronic and non-complex acute conditions Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, and reducing unnecessary ER visits Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR Daily schedule includes: 8:00am team huddle 12:00pm-1:00pm lunch 3:30pm last patient
Qualifications:
Active Arizona NP license (or in process of obtaining) Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required BLS or ACLS certification required 2+ years of NP experience preferred Primary care experience required Geriatric experience strongly preferred Value-Based Care and/or Managed Care experience preferred Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred Perks!: Outpatient-only setting Monday-Friday schedule 45-minute patient visits Smaller patient panels for better patient relationships Competitive compensation + annual bonus potential Full benefits package including malpractice with tail coverage CME package: 5 days + $4,000 annually Paid holidays + floating holidays Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding organization Collaborative and supportive care team environment
Shift:
