Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care within a correctional facility in California City, CA . This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-Friday day shift schedule and can be structured as full-time or part-time, making it ideal for providers seeking flexibility while working in a collaborative environment paying $60-$75/hour based on experience. Key Responsibilities Perform assessments, exams, and diagnose/treat medical conditions Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests Develop and manage patient care plans Monitor patient health status and respond to medical needs Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner license in California Graduate of an accredited NP program (Family Practice preferred) Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience Experience in corrections, primary care, or urgent care Familiarity with NCCHC, ACA, or JCAHO standards Additional Information Weekly pay Supportive team environment Opportunity for long-term placement Important information: This position is recruited for by a remote TemPositions Group office.
