Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) / Nocturnist APP, you will be a vital part of Mercy Medical Group's award-winning hospitalist program in the Sacramento area. This full-time clinical position offers the opportunity to join a collegial multi-specialty group committed to exceptional patient care. We're seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals dedicated to patient safety and quality care, offering a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. This role is ideal for APPs looking to make a significant impact in hospital medicine within a supportive environment and a flexible-scheduling model. In this role you will provide critical cross-coverage care to hospitalized patients, including facilitating admissions, consults, transfers, and discharges under physician supervision. You will be instrumental in acute triage, assessing and managing acute changes in patient conditions, and maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough patient care records. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with attending physicians, medical specialists, residents, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care across Dignity-affiliated hospitals in the Sacramento area. To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in hospital medicine, demonstrating proficiency in direct patient care and acute patient assessment. You will thrive in a dynamic, night-shift environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork within our multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Direct patient care: Provide cross-coverage care to hospitalized patients as well as facilitate patient admissions, consults, transfers, and discharges, under the supervision of a hospitalist physician Acute triage: Assess and manage acute changes in hospitalized patient conditionsDocumentation:

Full-time clinical hospitalist position (1.0) Night shifts will be scheduled as 10-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling Maintains privileges at all Dignity-affiliated hospitals No procedures 165 shifts per yearCompensation & Benefits:
