This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for a predictable, low-administrative clinical role focused entirely on objective medical evaluations. In this position, you will conduct one-time disability examinations that support Veterans' benefit claims. There is no treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient management —allowing you to focus solely on comprehensive assessments and accurate documentation.

Part-Time (1 days per week)
Compensation:
$1100/day In-Person Position No prescribing or treatment responsibilities No follow-up appointments or ongoing patient care Structured workflow with electronic documentation Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for Veterans. Review medical records, service treatment records, prior examinations, and medical history before each evaluation. Explain the examination process and verify the Veteran's claimed conditions. Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions (MOs) using a secure electronic medical record system. Perform focused physical evaluations as required by VA examination protocols. Order and interpret diagnostic testing when appropriate, including laboratory studies, spirometry, and ECGs. Accurately document objective clinical findings and submit completed examination reports within 24-48 hours. Follow established protocols for behavioral health or medical emergencies when necessary. Maintain compliance with all VA examination guidelines while providing professional, compassionate care to Veterans.
