We seek a dedicated, detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence and a commitment to improving health outcomes through innovative practices and compassionate care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews. Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and DEA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner to document patient encounters accurately. Administer injections, IV infusions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and perform procedures like suturing and spinal taps. Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health, gastroenterology, and infectious disease care. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. Engage in telehealth services to expand access to care and provide health coaching tailored to individual patient needs. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in assisted living or nursing home environments. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, or Epic for efficient medical documentation and records management. Skilled in performing advanced procedures including catheterization, tube feeding management, venipuncture, sterile processing techniques, and infection control protocols. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes;
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding for accurate diagnosis documentation; and utilization review processes. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma center settings; hospital medicine or emergency room experience preferred. Expertise in pain management techniques including acute pain management strategies and opioid stewardship. Ability to perform diagnostic testing such as sonography or laboratory specimen collection/processing; experience with neurodiagnostics like spinal taps is advantageous. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient education and health coaching; adept at triage and case management in outpatient or urgent care settings. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards; proficiency in medical terminology; ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments like trauma centers or urgent care clinics.
