Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Allergy & Immunology practice in Hanford, California. The PA/NP will provide direct patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting, working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
Business Hours Monday, Wednesday & Friday:
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday:
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage new and established patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician. Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of patients. Evaluate patients receiving allergy immunotherapy and other allergy-related treatments. Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies. Prescribe medications within the provider's scope of practice. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and ongoing management of their conditions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care. Consult with the physician regarding complex cases or when physician involvement is appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and standards of care. Participate in the continued development and improvement of allergy and immunology services within the practice. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program. Current or eligible California PA or NP license. Current DEA registration or ability to obtain. Allergy, asthma, immunology, primary care, or related clinical experience preferred; however, training may be provided to the right candidate. Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient care. Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the supervising physician and clinical team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
