We are seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner for a Full Time role working in a clinical setting. As a member of the health care team, the Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan and provide support to the Medical Departments professional staff.

The FNP will:

Provide primary medical services of patients of all ages Evaluate and treat acute injuries and illnessesConduct and record results of physical examinations Arrange all follow up lab work, x-rays, and outside patient care needsProvide patient education for health promotion, risk management and disease preventionInterface with community and assist patients in utilizing resourcesMaintain case records as required within the regulations and requirements of our funding agenciesMeet regularly with other clinic providers to review patient care issues and concerns and actively participates in Quality and Performance Improvement activitiesMaintain good working relations among all staff through appropriate communications What you need:

Possession of a current California licensure as a Family Nurse PracticitionerOne year of supervisory experience in an ambulatory clinic preferredCurrent BLS/ALS certificate preferredMust pass Occupational Health Screening.

Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier). The position requires an awareness and keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contacts with Indian health organizations which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.
