Job Description
The open positions are for a busy/fast paced, well established primary care practice with locations in Palmdale, CA, Lancaster, CA and Ridgecrest, CA. We are seeking candidates that possess the objective and commitment to provide effective and efficient quality care to our patients and to be a long term member of our growing team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to manage needs of our patients with a focus on Internal Medicine by conducting histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing evaluations, making diagnoses, initiating consults and referrals, initiating treatment, health education, follow-up and consultation with physicians.
- Must be self-directed/motivated, have excellent documentation and communication skills as well as computer skills. Candidate must also posses strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
- Experience using EMR
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, and providers
QUALIFICATIONS/CREDENTIALS
- Graduate from an accredited Medical program with a current California MD license and DEA
- Multiple years of experience is preferred
- Managed care experience is preferred
- Spanish speaking is a a plus
