SUMMARY:
- The Staff Physician provides primary care in a community clinic setting, diagnosing, treating, and managing patient health within licensure parameters. They participate in hospital duties and collaborate with team members to deliver quality care.
EXPECTATIONS
- Arrive on time and adhere to schedules. Work flexible or extended hours as needed. Engage in in-services, respecting team ideas. Uphold organizational mission and professionalism.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver primary care, order follow-up, and manage treatment plans. Supervise mid-level practitioners and participate in on-call duties. Maintain accurate medical records, documentation, and referrals. Contribute to team reviews, quality improvement, and resource planning. Attend meetings and maintain productivity standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid California Physician License. Current CPR/BLS certification. Preferred bilingual skills (English/Spanish). Ability to perform physical tasks and communicate effectively.
