Job Description

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner opening in Madera, CA Full-Time | Pediatric Primary Care | Community Health | Phone Triage Rotation A community health setting in Madera, California is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive pediatric primary care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Opportunity Highlights:

  • Care includes well-child visits, immunizations, chronic disease management, developmental screening, and patient education
  • Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses
  • Order labs, referrals, imaging, and diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Attend daily huddles and coordinate care with physicians, care team members, and referral resources
  • Participate in rotational phone triage approximately every 3-5 months
  • Participate in peer review, CQI meetings, departmental meetings, and health center activities
  • Document patient encounters using SOAP format
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment focused on community health
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary:
  • $135,000

Candidate Requirements:
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification required
  • Strong pediatric clinical assessment and patient-care skills
  • Ability to diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses
  • Ability to order labs, referrals, imaging, and diagnostic testing as appropriate
  • Strong communication, documentation, and care coordination skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and community health
