$60,000-$70,000/year About the Role We're seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our gastroenterology practice on a part-time basis. You'll be part of a collaborative care team supporting a busy GI practice, working under physician supervision. Schedule 20 hours/week Days/hours to be arranged based on practice needs and candidate availability May include occasional holidays, evenings, or weekend coverage as needed for patient care Key Responsibilities Provide professional medical services within GI specialty scope Provide patient care and perform all related and derivative clinical duties, under the supervision of a physician Provide consults to requesting physicians Maintain timely, accurate medical and billing records; review billings under your name/provider number and flag errors Participate in compliance programs and administrative/medical education duties as assigned Cooperate with billing/compliance requirements tied to payor contracts (HMOs, PPOs, IPAs, MSOs, etc.) Compensation $60,000-$70,000/year, prorated for part-time (20 hours/week) Payment frequency biweekly Required Certifications & Qualifications National Certification — Current NCCPA certification (PA) or national board certification through AANP or ANCC (NP). California License — Must be licensed or become licensed to practice as a PA or NP in California. NPI Number — Must have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing and provider identification purposes.Pay:
