Newport Beach, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract From $100 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Surgical techniques Reconstructive surgery Schedule management Nurse Practitioner (NP) Dermatology Advanced practice provider Physician Assistant License Full Job Description Dermatology/Plastic Surgery PA or NP — Mohs Reconstruction Dr. Simzar is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in plastic surgery, facial reconstruction, dermatologic surgery, or Mohs surgery closures. This is a part-time position working directly with Dr. Simzar to perform approximately 15-20 Mohs reconstructions per day. Schedule Two days per week Locations may include Newport Beach, Los Alamitos, and Agoura Hills Specific days and locations will be coordinated based on availability Required Experience Licensed PA or NP in California At least 500 independently performed surgical reconstructions or closures Strong proficiency with layered closures, flaps, and grafts Comfortable reconstructing facial and other complex post-Mohs defects Excellent surgical judgment, efficiency, and attention to cosmetic outcomes Able to manage a high-volume surgical schedule This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled surgical PA or NP who enjoys reconstruction, values autonomy, and wants to work closely with an experienced Mohs surgeon.
