The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirection supervision of the Medical Director and/or his designees and the Nursing Director according to the established nursing standardized procedures. This role is a leadership position in the department and the individual is responsible for effective time management, resource utilization, and demonstration of positive role modeling.

Qualifications Required:

Will consider experience as a Physician Assistant Current California RN license Nurse Practitioner Certification Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times) Certification as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Minimum of 5 years clinical experience Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to present self in positive and professional manner
