Works in a physician's office or other healthcare facility, under the direction of a physician. Performs work similar to that of a physician assistant but has different medical training and degree.

- 8-hour shifts One evening shift per week: 12 pm
- 9 pm One Saturday or Sunday per month required Option to work four 9-hour shifts per week 20
- 24 patients per 8-hour shift; 25
- 27 per 9-hour Serves all ages
