Administer injections such as testosterone or botulinum toxin treatments, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Utilize EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and medical records management. Educate patients on health maintenance strategies, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence to promote optimal wellness. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including specialists in urology, endocrinology, and behavioral health to coordinate comprehensive care. Stay current with advancements in clinical research related to men's health, hormone therapies, and esthetic laser treatments to provide evidence-based care. Experience Proven experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Athenahealth is essential. Demonstrated proficiency in performing procedures like IV infusion, venipuncture, suturing, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques. Prior experience administering botulinum toxin treatments or dermal fillers is highly desirable. Background in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine enhances ability to manage acute situations effectively. Knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes along with ICD-10 coding standards is required for accurate documentation. Experience working within collaborative practice agreements as an advanced practice provider (APP) in outpatient or clinic settings is preferred.
