Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner Health Service Alliance - 4.0 Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Full-time From $143,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Electronic health records (EHR) management APRN Diagnostic radiology Outpatient experience Advanced practice provider Physician Assistant License Full Job Description Health Service Alliance is a community health center in the southern Inland Empire area that is looking for a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing program. This clinic is 100% outpatient with no on-call or weekends. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a lunch break. The ideal candidate will be able to comfortably manage seeing an average of 18 patients per day. All relevant state licenses are required. Working knowledge of electronic health records necessary, experience with eClinicalWorks highly preferred. Duties include but not limited to: Examine patients to assess general physical condition. Diagnose medical conditions. Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval. Prescribe treatments or therapies. Prescribe medications. Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests. Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests. Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination. Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals. Record patient medical histories. Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment. Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance. Provide health and wellness advice to patients Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management.
