JOB TITLE
: Nurse Practitioner

CEO POSITION SUMMARY
: The Nurse Practitioner is a skilled member of the allied health care team who is expected to practice at the highest level of their licensure. They will work collaboratively with the Physician Hospitalist to facilitate acute care of the adult patient. This individual works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers and other health care disciplines utilizing a team approach. The nurse practitioner participates in all aspects of care of the hospitalized patient including admissions, discharge, daily rounds and patient education.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
: Masters in Nursing (MSN) graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current California RN license and Nurse Practitioner license. AHA BLS certification.
AHA ACLS
certification required within 90 days of hire or status change. Current drug enforcement administration (DEA) license.
