Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide one-on-one medication management and psychiatric assessments.
- Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and follow-up care within scope of practice.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Provide psychiatric care with the advice and support of seasoned, Board-Certified Psychiatrists.
- Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners, and other medical staff.
- Provide telehealth services as needed via video/phone.
- Coordinate treatment planning and continuity of care with the clinical team.
Position Details and Qualifications:
- Will support our Outpatient Office in Victorville, CA.
- Must be a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Must hold or be eligible for an active California Nurse Practitioner license and applicable furnishing/prescribing authority.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.- Hourly rate: $85 to $95 depending on years of PMHNP experience.
- Open for Full-Time and Part-time opportunity.
- W2 employed (1099 option, also available)
