Job Summary:
This role involves delivering patient care services across multiple Children's Hospital Colorado locations in the metro Denver area. Responsibilities of this position include identifying, assessing, planning, and coordinating services for ambulatory pediatric urology patients, ensuring quality, continuity, and appropriate utilization of healthcare resources throughout the continuum of care. NP/PA should be comfortable seeing patients in the outpatient setting autonomously with input from surgeons. This position allows the NP/PA the opportunity to lead and develop patient therapeutic and diagnostic models.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform new patient, follow-up, and post-op visits. Order necessary tests and procedures. Communicate with PCPs about patient status. Perform inpatient pediatric urology consultations. Assist house staff with writing admission and discharge orders. Participate in educational, research, quality improvement, and consultant services of the Pediatric Urology Program. Lead Dysfunctional Elimination Seminars.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. G raduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Masters degree in Nursing required, or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant school. Current license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse/ Physician Assistant with prescriptive privileges. Meets and maintains the requirements of the Nursing Credential Review Board for the Advanced Practice Nurse/ Physician Assistant.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as
HIRING RANGE
$103,958.00 to $145,059.00 The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
