Job Description
We are recruiting for a mission-driven Family Medicine APP
- Outpatient Float Pool (PRN) to join our team!
Essential Functions :
Under the direction of a physician, admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, including major and complicated, and perform procedures learned in training. (30%) Provide preventative and therapeutic care for patients of all ages. This includes admit patients, preventative care, acute care, prenatal care, care of injured persons, management of chronic illnesses, and performance of procedures learned in training. (30%) Supervise house staff in providing care for patients of all ages in ambulatory and inpatient settings. (20%) Performs privileged procedures as outlined in the Denver Health Advanced Practice Provider Ambulatory Care Clinical Privileges documentation. (20%) Participates in clinical education of healthcare students as seen fit by the supervising medical staff (0%)Education :

Licenses :
RN-Registered Nurse- DORA
- Department of Regulatory Agencies Required and PA-Physician Assistant
- State Medical Board Required or PAC-Certified Physician Assistant
- NCCPA
- National Commission for Certifying Agencies Required and
DEAREG-DEA
Registration- DEA•Drug Enforcement Agency Required and BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)•AHA•American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required and NP-Nurse Practitioner•DORA•Department of Regulatory Agencies Required and NP-Nurse Practitioner•AANPCB•American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board Required or FNPBC-Family Nurse Practitioner Certification•AANPCB•
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Has adequate knowledge and skill of all privileged procedures as outlined in the Denver Health Advanced Practice Provider Ambulatory Care Clinical Privileges documentation Computer skills required. Shift Work Type PRN/Intermittent Salary $118,200.00- $136,700.00 / yr (Pay range listed is for 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE).
