Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• History and physical examinations including verification of state and federal guidelines that allow for admission into

services for Opioid Use Disorder.

• Weekly and monthly follow up visits monitoring patient care, medication evaluation for increases and decreases, patient phasing/take home of medication safety decisions and staffing.
• Collaborates with other providers and staff on high risk population appropriateness of each patient situation as needed.
• Thorough documentation that outlines and illustrates patient care for outside auditors and other staff to easily follow patient care plan.
• Coordinate care with patient(s) primary care physician and sub-specialty consultants in regards to additional diagnoses and prescribed medications.
• Provides oversight and guidance to nurse(s) as necessary. May assist phlebotomy for patients with difficult venipuncture, ordering specialty labs, referrals.
• ∙Review patients with abnormal laboratory findings and provide recommendations or make referrals as appropriate.
• Patient engagement and willingness to encourage patient care meetings to collaborate with other staff efforts of patient retention, decrease stigma, harm reduction education, provide necessary community referrals for infectious diseases and other common parallel medical concerns related to the patient population.
• Perform EKGs on patients when necessary for dosing needs of increases/decreases per Medical Director and Thrive policy and procedures To monitor and manage Torsades de Pointes. Continuous ECG monitoring and tracking the QTc interval by monitoring the heart-rate-corrected QT interval at continuous times through patient's treatment journey to ensure safe medication dosing.
• This can be a contract 1099 agreement and/or W2 employment once more hours are available (please discuss needs during interview).

Preferred Qualifications/Training:

Specialized training in addiction medicine preferred. Methadone exposure or desire to work in a methadone clinic, with willingness to learn and train. Understanding of crisis stabilization and moments of in crisis care demands. Flexibility to join a growing team, fill in shifts as needed/planned.

Requirements:

CO License through DORA or compact license (to include CO)

NP, PA, APRN, PMHNP DEA

License Professional Liability Insurances Credentialed with: Medicaid, Medicaid Raes (COA, CCHA, RMHP), Medicare CAQH profile

• We can also assist with credentialing and CAQH profiles.

Pay Range:

$60.00
