This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced clinical skills, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. As an FNP, you will provide primary care, perform diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans that promote health and wellness for individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and diagnose conditions. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in compliance with DEA regulations, and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems . Our EHR system is Elation Health . Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care across primary care, specialty services like gastroenterology or behavioral health, and urgent or emergency settings. Engage in patient education on topics such as nutrition, chronic disease management, family planning, and memory or dementia care. Qualifications Valid Family Nurse Practitioner license with current certification from an accredited program. Proven experience working in family practice clinics. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and drug enforcement regulations related to prescribing medications. Skilled in patient assessment for pediatric through geriatric populations; familiarity with infant care is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating excellent client communication skills. Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and safety.
