Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our 3 provider, two MDs and one APRN, Internal Medicine/Primary care practice.- Perform physical examinations and obtain medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Connecticut
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
