Job Description

Nurse Practitioner We are looking for an experienced, independent Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice/Internal Medicine or Primary Care with at least 1-2 years experience to work in an established clinic providing care to a diverse set of patients at a neighborhood boutique
  • physician-owned primary care practice in Cos Cob.
Enjoy a relaxed work setting, the ability to dictate your notes and orders greatly reducing manual computer time, supportive staff, and moderate work pace in a most convenient location. Responsibilities Assess and treat patients' health in the primary care and walk-in clinic setting including issue appropriate prescriptions Be aware how to order appropriate consultations, labs, and imaging in the diagnostic workup Perform physical examinations, new patient visits, and pre-operative examinations Be comfortable providing telemedicine visits for clinical care, results, and medication refills Skills Proven work experience as a Nurse Practitioner Can-do attitude when empowering patients Caring/Flexible sentiment accommodating patient preferences when providing treatment options Easy-going nature in the office-setting Team player with good communication skills Board Certification Required Benefits Scribes, Medical Assistant Fully Paid Malpractice Insurance Dedicated Staff to Send Prescriptions, Submit Prior Authorizations, Outreach Schedule Every week: 8:15am
  • 5:00pm Wednesday, Thursday 8:15am
  • 3:00pm Friday 9:00am
  • 4:00pm Saturday (every other)
Total:
27.75 hours per week. Coverage for other Providers as needed (optional).
