Women's Health Connecticut is seeking an Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA) or a Midwife (CNM) at Gynecology & Obstetrics in Hartford!

Position Summary :
Provide comprehensive women's health care, including obstetric and gynecological services, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and overall well-being.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as a representative of PWH, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the PWH community, and the public. Provide full-scope outpatient gynecologic and obstetrical care, including annual exams, problem visits, preventative screenings, prenatal and postpartum visits. Perform routine in-office procedures, i.e.: Pap Smears, IUD and Nexplanon insertions and removals, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopy (if trained). Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gynecologic and obstetrical conditions. Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services. Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, menopause, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and efficient EMR documentation. Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care. Support practice flow, schedules, and patient satisfaction initiatives Build long-term patient relationships in a community-focused private practice Follow internal protocols regarding departmental communications. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Adhere to corporate compliance program guidelines and comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures within the PWH community. Maintain and respect the confidentiality of PHI (Protected Health Information) in accordance with corporate policy and all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) mandates. Candidate will have access to PHI based on the HIPAA minimum necessary standards. Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills/Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Midwifery program. Active state licensure as an NP, PA or Midwife (Connecticut or eligible) Board Certification preferred DEA License (or eligible). Prior OB/GYN or women's health experience preferred Ability to set priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Team player who also values independence and ownership of your work. Strong clinical judgement in outpatient women's health. Ability to manage a high-volume patient schedule efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
