Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for patients referred from Primary Care, Oncology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Urgent Cares, and other co-specialties. Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements. Manage acute and chronic conditions. Document and Chart encounters according to practice and other regulatory standards. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively and have above average computer skills. Provide patient education on alternative methods and lifestyle changes as it relates to treating chronic conditions. Experience 3+ Years of CT Licensed APRN experience in primary care or chronic pain management. Experience with Medicaid and Geriatric Populations Spanish speaking helpful, but not required. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for accurate medical documentation and billing purposes. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
