Primary Care of Shelton | Shelton, CT Primary Care of Shelton is a highly respected, well-established private practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in adult primary care to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on an incredibly accommodating, family-first environment, and we offer comprehensive mentorship and support.
Quick Look:
Schedule:
Full-Time (4 days/week). Standard clinic hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No evening or on-call requirements.
Comprehensive Mentorship:
Develop your skills in a fully supervised ramp-up period under the guidance of Dr. Asgari and our team before you are expected to see a full daily panel independently.
Location:
Outpatient clinic in Shelton, CT (Fairfield County). 10 miles from New Haven, CT.
Practice Overview:
Broad Scope of Care:
Provide comprehensive, outpatient-only primary care to patients ages 15 to geriatrics. You will start by seeing acute care and physicals, then slowly build a panel for chronic disease management.
Clinical Duties:
Perform minor outpatient procedures, dermatologic procedures, joint injections, and cryoablation. The practice also heavily features an advanced obesity medicine service line utilizing DEXA body composition and liver scans.
Quality Over Quantity:
Manage a highly comfortable volume of 12-16 patients per day. Benefit from unhurried 40-minute slots for physicals and 15 to 30 minute slots for follow-ups and sick visits.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $115,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. Bonus Eligibility Paid Time Off 401(k)

Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Connecticut license (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience:
