A full-time Nurse Practitioner position is now available with Liberty Healthcare's team at DHCI - a highly rated skilled nursing facility located in Smyrna, Delaware. Why you'll love this role Ability to spend ample time with your patients (without productivity requirements) Opportunity to positively impact the health and wellbeing of older adults and people with disabilities Very nice work / life balance What you'll do Provide primary care to a case load of approximately forty patients Round on units daily and evaluate patients Conduct examinations, perform diagnostic tests, provide preventive care, develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases, and prescribe medications Provide consultation and health education to nursing and ancillary staff Collaborate with the facility's onsite Medical Director, other Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and ancillary staff Actively participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Compensation and benefits Salary range starting at $110,000 with room for growth Monday through Friday workweek from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 30 days of paid time off annually for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days Health Savings Account, 401k plan, and other perks View details regarding Liberty's benefits plan at Skills & Requirements What we're looking for Professional licensure in Delaware as a Nurse Practitioner Clinical competence in the care of adult and geriatric patients You should be open to serving older adults; people who have loss of cognitive functioning: individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injury; those who are experiencing mental illness; people who have substance use disorders; and those experiencing end of life issues.
