Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Athenahealth, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and coping strategies. Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing mental health services and patient outcomes. Qualifications Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with valid licensure in the state of practice. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for documentation and patient management. Knowledge of psychopharmacology, medication administration protocols, and drug enforcement regulations (DEA). Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to perform physical examinations when necessary. Experience in behavioral health settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, or telehealth environments is highly desirable.
