Job Description

We are a small but establish Gastroenterology and Pulmonary company, with over 10 years in business, looking for a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our friendly and family oriented team. This position is Full-time. Our clinic office hours are 8:30-5:00. The ARNP/PA will be responsible for making hospital rounds as needed. Complete assessments in the office and attend hospital consults in the facilities which includes: Adult/Geriatric/Gastroenterology/ Pulmonary evaluations,medical history, physical exam,medication reconciliation and diagnosis, health education of member/family on disease process and expectations and to work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop an appropriate treatment plan. Complete a comprehensive review and assessment of a member's medical history, physical health, environment and gastroenterology and pulmonary needs. Document progress notes, prepare patient workups and encounter summaries using the company's ECW system Interact with office staff & hospital facilities Complete paperwork within the required time frame. - Be available for on call as needed. Request additional testing, if needed. Required Skills Experience working with the Geriatric population Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
